Terms and Conditions
Last updated November 7, 2026
These Terms and Conditions are between you and H. Smith Travel Collective LLC, doing business as Wanderlust Travel by Heather Smith ("Wanderlust Travel," "we" or "your advisor"). By requesting a quote, approving travel arrangements, submitting a payment authorization or taking part in travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before reserving.
1. Our Role and Your Suppliers
Wanderlust Travel acts solely as an independent travel advisor and intermediary between travelers and independent third-party suppliers. These include airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, ground transportation companies, insurance providers and other travel suppliers. We do not own, operate, manage or control any of these suppliers.
All reservations are governed by each supplier's own terms and conditions, including its deposit requirements, cancellation and refund policies, change fees, baggage policies and travel documentation requirements. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding those policies before travel.
2. Pricing, Payment and Authorization
2.1 Pricing and availability. Quoted prices and availability are not guaranteed until payment has been successfully processed and the supplier confirms the reservation. Prices may change because of supplier price adjustments, taxes, fees, fuel surcharges, exchange rates, availability, or promotional rates that expire before confirmation. We are not responsible for supplier price increases, pricing errors or inventory changes.
2.2 Payment authorization. When you authorize a card, you authorize Wanderlust Travel to submit charges to the applicable supplier(s) for the travel services you have approved. Payments are made directly to those suppliers whenever possible. Authorizing a payment does not guarantee confirmation, and reservations remain subject to supplier availability until confirmed.
2.3 Deposits and final payments. Deposits and final payments are due according to each supplier's requirements and deadlines. Missing a payment deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation and loss of any deposit paid.
2.4 Reviewing confirmations. You are responsible for promptly reviewing all reservation confirmations and invoices when you receive them and for telling us right away about any discrepancies.
3. Cancellations, Refunds and Chargebacks
3.1 Cancellations and refunds. Cancellation penalties are set solely by the supplier and may result in partial or full loss of payment. Refund timelines are controlled by the supplier and may take several weeks or longer. We are not responsible for delays in supplier refunds.
3.2 Chargebacks. You agree not to start a chargeback for charges you properly authorized that were correctly processed for travel services provided by the supplier. If you have concerns about your reservation, you agree to contact us first so we can make reasonable efforts to resolve them. Nothing in these terms waives any rights you may have under applicable law.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance has been offered or discussed with you and is strongly recommended for every trip. It can protect against cancellation penalties, trip interruption, medical emergencies, travel delays, baggage loss and other unforeseen events. If travel insurance is declined or not purchased, the traveler takes full and sole responsibility for any resulting financial losses not covered by the supplier.
5. Travel Documents and Names
5.1 Documents. Travelers are solely responsible for getting and carrying all required documentation, including valid passports, visas, government-issued identification, any vaccination or health records required by destinations or suppliers, and any other entry requirements. Many destinations require a passport to remain valid for at least six months beyond the return date. Missing or improper documentation may result in denied boarding or denied entry, without refund.
5.2 Name accuracy. Traveler names must exactly match government-issued identification. Any name correction after reserving may be subject to supplier change fees, fare differences or cancellation penalties, which are the traveler's responsibility.
6. Flights and Schedule Changes
Airlines may change flight schedules at any time before departure. We are not responsible for airline schedule changes, seat assignments, flight delays or cancellations. Travelers are responsible for watching for airline notifications and confirming flight details before departure.
7. Supplier Substitutions and Itinerary Changes
Suppliers may substitute services, accommodations or parts of an itinerary because of operational needs, weather, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond their control. These changes are outside our responsibility and control.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for the acts, omissions, errors, financial condition or insolvency of any supplier. We are also not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, schedule change, cancellation, overbooking, service failure or other irregularity caused by suppliers or by circumstances beyond reasonable control. These include weather events, mechanical failure, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics and other public health events, and other acts of God.
9. Electronic Signatures
Electronic signatures, scanned signatures, emailed approvals and digital acknowledgments have the same legal effect as an original handwritten signature, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Acceptance and Cardholder Certification
By checking the acceptance box on your trip page, approving travel arrangements, submitting a payment authorization or taking part in travel, you certify that the information you have provided is accurate; that you are the authorized cardholder, or are authorized to use the payment card; that you have verified all traveler names exactly match their government-issued identification; that you authorize the requested charges; and that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and Conditions in full.
11. Passport Parties Host Rewards
11.1 Fill the room bonus. A host earns a one-time bonus credit based on the number of adult guests who attend their Passport Party, not counting the host: $50 for 8 to 9 guests, $100 for 10 to 14 guests and $200 for 15 or more guests. Only one bonus is earned per party.
11.2 Trips reserved credit. A host earns credit based on the number of qualifying trips reserved by guests who attended their party: $50 for 1 to 2 trips, $100 for 3 to 4 trips and $200 plus a host gift for 5 or more trips. A trip qualifies when it is reserved with Wanderlust Travel within 60 days of the party, has a total cost of at least $1,000 and is either paid in full or protected by a Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Deluxe or Platinum plan purchased through Wanderlust Travel. If a qualifying trip is canceled, it no longer counts toward the host's total and any credit already issued for it may be reduced.
11.3 Pass the party bonus. A host earns a $50 credit for each guest who attended their party and goes on to host their own Passport Party, once that party has a date set and takes place within 3 months of the original party date, or a longer period approved by Wanderlust Travel at its discretion. The credit is applied after that party takes place. There is no limit on the number of Pass the Party bonuses a host can earn.
11.4 Using credits. Host credits can only be applied to a new trip the host reserves with Wanderlust Travel within 12 months of the party date, after which unused credits expire. Credits from all three programs may be combined. If a credit is earned after the host's trip has already traveled, it carries over to the host's next new trip reserved with Wanderlust Travel under these same terms. Credits cannot be applied to a trip that was already reserved before the party, cannot exceed the cost of the trip they are applied to, have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash.
11.5 Eligibility and changes. Hosts must be at least 18 years old. Wanderlust Travel may change or end the host rewards program at any time, but credits already earned before a change will be honored under the terms in place when they were earned.
